| This fiber art work is a hybrid of artistic disciplines: abstraction and the traditional decorative arts such as quilts, embroidery, rugs, kimonos... With a painters eye I approach textile materials (using mostly heavy silks) incorporating historic textile techniques as well as contemporary painting. I work in series: themes and variations on the idea. |
